Comments facility broken fixed

blogging-230

Unfortunately a WordPress update appears to have broken our comments facility. The “Submit” button has gone missing.

Unfortunately too our technical guru is on holidays with limited internet access, so I’m not sure when it’s going to be fixed. So I can only apologise and hope for better days. If anyone has any bright ideas, please let me know at climateplus@bigpond.com

I was going to do a post on GM foods, but I’ll leave that until the comments facility is fixed.

  1. I’ve just activated a new theme that will hopefully fix the broken comments problem. Bear with me while I move a few things around to make it work better generally with the information widgets etc.

  2. OK, the new theme lacks a bunch of features that the old theme had. I hope you all don’t miss the too much this week while I’m away, but at least you’ll be able to comment. If the look suddenly changes again it means I’ve found another theme that works better in the little ways, but at least this one is clear and legible and lets you all continue the discussions.

  3. Unfortunately now no ‘Recent posts’, no Archives or Index tags, which I use quite a lot.

Can only scroll down the home page. Googling might find stuff. I still find it the easiest way of locating old posts at LP.
